Commis Chef – Bakery (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef – Bakery to join our Anatolian restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the bakery and pastry team in preparing fresh, high-quality baked goods for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and producing a variety of baked items following recipes.
• Mix, roll, shape dough and monitor baking times and temperatures.
• Organise, label and store ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and food-safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in line with kitchen regulations.
• Support the senior chefs during high-volume service periods.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a bakery or relevant culinary training.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and bakery ingredients.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good time-management, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
