About the role
The Commis I position at Sea Fu Kitchen supports the culinary team in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel environment. Reporting to senior chefs, you will gain hands‑on experience in food preparation, cooking and maintaining a clean workstation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs with mise en place, ingredient preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning work areas, equipment and storage spaces.
- Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Support inventory checks and stock rotation under supervision.
- Collaborate with team members across the hotel’s five dining outlets.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic about starting a culinary career in a luxury hospitality setting.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong interest in learning various cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required skills
- Basic food preparation techniques.
- Fundamental cooking skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen cleaning and sanitation practices.
