About the role

Join the culinary team at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah as a Commis II – Pastry. You will support the pastry department in delivering high‑quality desserts and baked goods that enhance the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Execute complex pastry recipes, maintain station organization, and conduct quality control checks.
• Inspect and finalize plates to meet presentation and quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workspace and follow proper food handling and safety protocols.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and manage inventory needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
