Communication Specialist

About the role

The Business Unit is looking for a proactive Communication Specialist to design and execute external PR and corporate communication plans that support business objectives and enhance brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all external communication activities, translating business strategies into annual plans, media campaigns and tactical deliverables.
• Source stories, arrange editorial meetings and manage the approval process for news materials.
• Create press releases, interviews, speeches, Q&A documents, digital content and ensure accuracy across all external and internal channels.
• Define and oversee annual communication plans, working closely with communications and marketing managers.
• Act as the primary contact for business‑unit spokespeople, coordinating public engagements and media opportunities.
• Maintain quality and consistency of written and visual assets, including fact sheets, videos and website content.
• Manage approvals between PR teams, third‑party contacts and senior management.
• Track, archive and report on all communication activities.
• Build and sustain relationships with key media representatives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate communications and PR best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Exceptional Arabic writing ability.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external media.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and project‑management skills.
