Communications and Member Engagement Intern

About the role

AmCham Abu Dhabi is looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to support its communications and member engagement activities. This part‑time internship offers hands‑on experience in creating digital content, managing social media channels, and assisting with day‑to‑day office operations within an international business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and coordinate member communications such as updates, invitations and follow‑up messages.
• Create, schedule and publish content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, newsletters and the AmCham website.
• Collect, organize and prepare member news, profiles, photographs and other editorial material.
• Assist with email campaigns, membership outreach and basic communications tracking.
• Provide backup support for event promotion, coverage, photography, short videos and post‑event recaps.
• Design or adapt graphics, flyers, presentations and other communication assets.
• Maintain organized digital asset libraries, mailing lists and templates.
• Offer administrative and project support across events, committees and other office priorities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, media, business, public relations or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English skills; Arabic is a plus.
• Experience creating content for email, websites, newsletters or social media.
• Professional attitude when interacting with members and handling confidential information.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, adaptable and eager to learn.
