Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Compliance Specialist will safeguard the integrity of Like Card’s operations across multiple jurisdictions. You will design and maintain compliance frameworks, monitor regulatory changes, and act as a trusted advisor to product, marketing and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and interpret laws, regulations and circulars from central banks, financial regulators, telecom authorities and data‑protection bodies.
• Translate regulatory requirements into business‑friendly policies, procedures and controls for internal teams.
• Provide real‑time compliance advice on new product launches, marketing campaigns and partnership agreements.
• Maintain the internal compliance portal with up‑to‑date policies and regulatory updates.
• Develop and execute a risk‑based compliance monitoring plan, conduct periodic testing and audits of KYC checks, transaction monitoring rules and partner onboarding.
• Prepare detailed monitoring reports, root‑cause analyses and track corrective actions.
• Design and deliver targeted compliance training for high‑risk teams such as Sales, Customer Support and Product.
• Produce compliance flash memos for urgent regulatory changes.
• Participate in due‑diligence of potential partners (telecom, banks, payment gateways, merchants) and prepare reports for management and regulators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field; master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
• At least 48 months (4 years) of relevant compliance experience in fintech, payments or related sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly.
