Computer Science Teacher (AY27/28)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Computer Science/ICT Teacher to join its growing network of schools for the 2027‑28 academic year. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons that inspire curiosity and support students’ academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the full ability range.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker and use assessment data to inform further planning and intervention.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and parents to ensure positive learning outcomes.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, fostering a respectful and motivating environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Target Tracker for assessment and reporting.
• Experience using CPOMS or similar student welfare management systems.
