Computing Teacher – UK IGCSE Curriculum (Full‑time)

About the role

International Community School - Al Maharat Campus is seeking a dedicated Computing Teacher for the 2026/27 academic year at Al Maharat Private School. The role involves delivering the UK‑IGCSE Computing curriculum to high/secondary school students.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons aligned with the UK‑IGCSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that cater to diverse student needs.
• Foster critical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and digital literacy among students.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Education – Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in Computing or related subjects at secondary/high school level.
• Strong knowledge of the UK IGCSE Computing syllabus.
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Good communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
