Construction Engineer - Mechanical

About the role

We are hiring Construction Engineers (Mechanical) with proven experience in the oil and gas sector. The role involves managing mechanical construction activities at the project site, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise site execution of mechanical construction activities.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, construction methodologies, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and subcontractors for efficient execution.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure HSE and quality compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce approved work procedures and schedules.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and communicate updates to project management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas, including at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• At least 5 years in a similar role on international major onshore oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with field instruments, DCS, PLCs, and control systems.
