Construction Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

An experienced Construction Manager (Electrical & Instrumentation) is needed to lead EPC projects across the GCC region. The role oversees on‑site E&I construction, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities and manage subcontractors, vendors and site personnel.
• Develop and implement execution plans, resource strategies and work methodologies while monitoring productivity against approved schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning and project management teams to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, local regulations, company procedures and industry standards.
• Drive HSE culture, manage construction risks and support pre‑commissioning, commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of industrial construction experience, including at least 8 years in construction management.
• Extensive GCC project experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation or water treatment.
• Proven ability to lead large, multicultural construction teams and manage budgets.

Required skills

• Electrical installation and power distribution systems, MCC installations.
• Instrumentation installation, calibration, loop testing and commissioning.
• DCS, PLC, SCADA and control systems implementation.
• Cable tray routing, termination and testing.
• Construction execution planning, scheduling and QA/QC processes.
• Mechanical completion, system hand‑over and construction risk management.
