Construction Manager – Infrastructure

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction management, from planning and procurement to cost control and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Construction Management Plan, Site Specific Health and Safety Plan, and QA/QC Plan.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, manage field vehicles and equipment, and coordinate subcontract scopes, amendments, and task orders.
• Review and approve subcontractor safety and quality plans, monitor expenses against budget, and maintain insurance documentation.
• Negotiate scope changes, manage change orders, and advise clients on cost overruns or schedule impacts.
• Supervise preparation of monthly progress, safety self‑assessment, and financial reports, including invoices and subcontractor payments.
• Establish QA/QC procedures, set up onsite material testing labs, and enforce safety and emergency protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 + years of construction management experience on general infrastructure projects in the UAE/Abu Dhabi.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to adapt to demanding project conditions and attend in‑person interviews.
