Construction Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead infrastructure construction activities from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day construction activities across multiple infrastructure projects.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor resources, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, government authorities and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, take corrective actions and resolve technical issues with the engineering team.
• Enforce HSE policies, local regulations and project‑specific safety requirements.
• Maintain QA/QC standards and oversee subcontractor performance.
• Support cost control, review BOQs, material submittals and manage documentation.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and drive project handover, testing, commissioning and close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of construction experience, primarily on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs and method statements.
• In‑depth understanding of HSE and QA/QC requirements.
• Experience in GCC construction projects is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
