Construction Manager (MEP)

About the role

We are looking for a Construction Manager to lead all on‑site MEP construction activities. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and to design and quality standards, acting as the main site leader for installation supervision, coordination and progress management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day MEP site construction activities and ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Plan and deploy manpower, tools and materials for each activity.
• Monitor daily progress, track against the approved schedule and report to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and architectural teams to resolve site constraints.
• Interface with consultants, clients and main contractors for inspections, approvals and progress meetings.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions for unsafe conditions.
• Optimize utilisation of manpower, machinery and materials, and highlight productivity improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve installation conflicts and support the engineering department with shop drawings, RFIs and technical queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 9 years of MEP project management experience in construction, including at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation practices and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with shop drawings, coordination drawings, method statements and inspection/test plans (ITPs).
• Excellent leadership, on‑site decision‑making and communication skills.
