Construction Manager – PMC

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join its Project Management Consultant (PMC) team in Abu Dhabi. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a mixed‑use development, ensuring it meets schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of mixed‑use construction projects from pre‑construction to handover.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, construction teams, and vendors to ensure efficient execution.
• Monitor progress against timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure strict compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Manage project communications and facilitate collaboration among all stakeholders.
• Review and approve change orders, submittals, and construction documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of professional construction management experience on large‑scale or mixed‑use projects.
• Proven experience as a Project Management Consultant or in a similar advisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and building standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
