Construction Manager – Project & Operations Lead

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead both strategic and operational aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines team management, risk mitigation, client communication and on‑site supervision to drive successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic manpower plan, forecasting labor needs across project phases.
• Design team structures aligned with project requirements and optimize workforce productivity.
• Set long‑term project goals, identify financial, safety and scheduling risks, and create mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
• Lead daily project execution, creating detailed timelines, budgets and resource allocations.
• Manage procurement and logistics for materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Monitor work quality, ensuring adherence to design specifications and building codes.
• Maintain regular client communication, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Supervise on‑site operations, coordinating all stakeholders and teams.
• Implement operational best practices to streamline workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
• Enforce safety protocols and address operational challenges such as labor shortages or material delays.
• Track project costs, monitor budgets and adjust strategies to stay within financial limits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction management with a track record of delivering projects on schedule and budget.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Expertise in strategic planning, risk management and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for client and senior‑leadership interaction.
• Solid understanding of construction industry standards, safety regulations and sustainable practices.
