Construction Manager – Roads & Bridges (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead on‑site activities and manage subcontractors for major roads and bridges infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires hands‑on oversight of all construction phases, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations for roads and bridges works, ensuring alignment with approved plans and schedules.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to optimise resource utilisation.
• Enforce safety standards, environmental regulations, and site‑specific rules.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and monitor workmanship and material compliance.
• Ensure all activities meet local and national regulatory requirements, including permits and approvals.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and documentation.
• Lead and supervise the site team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with hands‑on involvement in roads and bridges infrastructure.
• Currently residing in the UAE.
