Construction Manager – Roads & Bridges (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

GCC is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead on‑site activities for major roads and bridges infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations for infrastructure works, ensuring alignment with approved plans and schedules.
• Supervise subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour to optimise resource use.
• Enforce safety, environmental and site‑specific regulations.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and monitor workmanship and material compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.
• Lead the site team, assign tasks, monitor performance and resolve issues affecting progress, quality or safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with hands‑on work in roads and bridges infrastructure.
• Current residence in the UAE.
