Construction Manager – Villas

About the role

Mace is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a large residential master‑plan community of villas and townhouses in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for overseeing designated work packages, ensuring they meet safety, quality, cost and programme targets while collaborating closely with subcontractors, stakeholders and internal project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support team performance through coaching, technical development and performance management.
• Manage delivery of specific structure or fit‑out packages, maintaining quality, safety and programme adherence.
• Coordinate with package managers on programme alignment and critical‑path activities.
• Chair look‑ahead meetings to drive short‑term planning and coordination.
• Track planned vs. actual progress and escalate deviations to construction leadership.
• Apply the project’s digital strategy and access construction information systems.
• Oversee area close‑out, ensuring QA/QC compliance, ITPs and handover readiness.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Leverage best practices from centres of excellence and knowledge hubs.
• Drive sustainability goals and contribute to net‑zero carbon initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and construction delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as a Managerial CSCS Card or SMSTS certification.
• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates, required for client approval.
