Construction Project Manager – Oil & Gas (Al Dhafra, UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead oil and gas construction projects in the Al Dhafra region of the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation to commissioning, ensuring that all technical, safety, and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of oil and gas construction projects from initiation through commissioning.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) activities.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering or a related field.
• 8–15 years of experience managing construction projects in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience with upstream, midstream, or downstream facilities.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and construction best practices.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ISO, and OSHA.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 project management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
