Construction Superintendent – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on‑site operations for a major PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that construction activities are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget while coordinating with subcontractors and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily on‑site construction activities and monitor progress against the project schedule.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and contractual obligations.
• Review and verify structural, piping, and electrical plans for conformance with specifications.
• Control project costs and support budget adherence.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and client teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical or Civil engineering.
• Minimum 17 years of industry experience, including at least 10 years on mega oil and gas processing projects.
• Proven experience in directing day‑to‑day site activities and managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in the oil and gas sector in a similar supervisory role.
