Construction Supervisor – Rotating Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead the installation, alignment and commissioning of rotating equipment on oil‑and‑gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing mechanical activities, ensuring compliance with international codes and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, alignment and commissioning of pumps, compressors, turbines and gearboxes.
• Ensure all work complies with ASME, ANSI and relevant API standards (e.g., API 510, API 570).
• Lead mechanical construction activities on EPC contracts, monitoring progress, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and review documentation, reports and compliance records.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years as a Construction Supervisor on oil‑and‑gas EPC projects.
• ADNOC approval is an advantage.

Required skills

• Installation, alignment and commissioning of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes).
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI and API codes (API 510, API 570).
• Mechanical supervision on large‑scale EPC sites.
