Consultant Allergist and Immunologist – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced and compassionate Consultant Allergist and Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The role involves diagnosing, treating and managing a broad spectrum of allergic and immune‑mediated disorders in both adult and pediatric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage allergic conditions such as rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food, drug and insect venom allergies, urticaria, angioedema and anaphylaxis.
• Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency, autoimmune and other immune‑mediated diseases.
• Perform and interpret skin prick, intradermal and patch testing, pulmonary function tests and laboratory investigations including IgE and other immunologic studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including allergen avoidance, pharmacotherapy, immunotherapy and biologic therapies.
• Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy, managing any adverse reactions.
• Provide emergency care for anaphylaxis following clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, trigger avoidance and emergency action plans.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians and other specialists to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with DHA regulations and participate in audits, research and teaching activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• Board certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• DHA eligibility letter, DHA licence or eligibility for consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist.
