Consultant – Anaesthesia

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant in Anesthesia to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical and medical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
• Assess patients’ medical history and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Manage pain control and post‑operative care.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care support.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and international standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous education.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Completion of a recognized residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Anesthesia.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a tertiary care hospital.
• Strong clinical, decision‑making, and communication skills.
