Consultant Anaesthetist (UK CCT) – Dubai

About the role

A leading UAE healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist holding a UK CCT to join its specialist team in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality peri‑operative anaesthesia care across elective and emergency procedures while upholding patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical cases, including complex and high‑risk procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre‑operative assessments and develop individualized anaesthetic plans.
• Administer general, regional and other appropriate anaesthetic techniques.
• Manage airway, haemodynamic monitoring and peri‑operative patient care.
• Deliver post‑operative pain management and monitor recovery.
• Participate in emergency response and resuscitation services.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Contribute to clinical governance, teaching, training and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• UK CCT in Anaesthetics / Anaesthesia.
• Specialist registration with the relevant UK medical authority.
• Substantial post‑CCT clinical experience, preferably in a tertiary‑care or teaching hospital.
• Eligibility for DOH (Abu Dhabi) medical licensing.
• Excellent clinical, communication and leadership abilities.
