About the role

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Critical Care Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver expert care to critically ill patients, lead multidisciplinary teams, and support the continuous improvement of intensive care services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring critical care interventions.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary ICU teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Implement and oversee advanced life support and patient monitoring technologies.
• Collaborate with other specialties and healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Participate in clinical research, audits, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Mentor, train, and educate junior medical staff and trainees.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Medical degree and board certification in Critical Care Medicine from American, UK, or other recognized Western Boards.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in critical care clinical practice.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proven capability to manage complex, high‑acuity patient cases.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and best practices.
• Effective teamwork within multidisciplinary environments.
