Consultant Emergency Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join our emergency department. The successful candidate will provide rapid, high‑quality care to patients with life‑threatening conditions and coordinate their journey through the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients immediately upon arrival and oversee emergency recovery.
• Conduct follow‑up visits to monitor patient condition.
• Order appropriate medical tests and implement treatment plans based on results.
• Develop comprehensive patient care plans and refer to specialists when needed.
• Stabilize patients before transferring them to the appropriate department.
• Provide discharge instructions and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Coordinate with other ER teams to ensure timely treatment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine from an accredited institution.
• 3–4 years of experience in a residency program.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• In‑depth knowledge of current medical treatments and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a high‑stress environment.
