Consultant Endocrinologist

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Endocrinologist to join our hospital team in the United Arab Emirates. The specialist will manage hormone‑related disorders, providing diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients for signs of endocrine imbalance and diagnose conditions affecting the pituitary, adrenal, thyroid, hypothalamus and related glands.
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests to assess hormone levels and metabolic function.
• Prescribe medications, recommend surgical interventions when necessary, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct follow‑up visits, monitor therapy effectiveness, and adjust treatment as needed.
• Educate patients on lifestyle, diet, and preventive measures for diabetes, osteoporosis, hypertension, and cholesterol management.
• Collaborate with medical directors, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated care.

Required profile

• MBBS or MBChB (or equivalent) with a specialization degree in Endocrinology.
• Minimum three years (36 months) of relevant clinical experience.
• Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support (ALSO) and GYNAC.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
