Consultant Family Medicine – UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its primary and ambulatory care services. The organisation seeks an experienced Consultant Family Medicine physician to join a multidisciplinary clinical team delivering comprehensive, patient‑centred care to a diverse international population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
• Deliver preventive health services, including screenings, immunisations, lifestyle counselling and wellness programmes.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and cardiovascular conditions using evidence‑based guidelines.
• Perform appropriate outpatient procedures and manage minor emergencies in the clinic.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist physicians and ensure continuity of care through patient education and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and integrated care pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, comply with medico‑legal requirements and uphold patient safety and quality standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, continuing medical education and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Family Medicine physician.
• Recognised qualification such as ABFM, UK CCT in General Practice/MRCGP, CCFP (Canada), FRACGP or FACRRM (Australia), European Specialist Qualification, Arab Board of Family Medicine, MD/DNB/FCPS/MMed or equivalent specialist credential.
