Consultant Fetal Medicine – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant Fetal Medicine specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. You will provide expert prenatal care, diagnose fetal abnormalities, counsel families, and perform advanced fetal interventions in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate, and manage fetal abnormalities using advanced ultrasound and other diagnostic tools.
• Provide clear consultation and counseling to expectant parents, explaining findings and potential risks.
• Review medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order appropriate investigations.
• Discuss treatment options, outline risks and benefits, and recommend individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient‑specific management strategies.
• Perform fetal interventions such as fetal blood transfusions, fetoscopic surgery, and intrauterine procedures.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Stay current with advancements in fetal medicine by attending conferences and workshops.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Fetal Medicine specialist.
• Western education or training in a recognized healthcare system (USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent).
• Certification in Fetal Medicine from a recognized body.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.
