Consultant Intensivist – ICU

About the role

Provide patient‑centric, evidence‑based consultant‑level care in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards set by Mediclinic and UAE regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Promote continuous professional development for self and colleagues to maintain excellence in medical practice.
• Execute clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner, maintaining professional integrity.

Required profile

• Basic medical degree with a recognized fellowship or diploma and registration in a specialty approved by the UAE healthcare authority.
• Active and valid life‑support certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
• Minimum 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience at consultant level, independent of country.
• Preferably at least 1 year of consultant‑level experience from a Tier 1 country as defined by the UAE regulator.
