Consultant Internal Medicine / Endocrinology

About the role

Mubadala Health Dubai, part of M42, offers world-class treatments and advanced technology through a state-of-the-art outpatient facility providing day surgery, outpatient consultations and diagnostics for over 30 clinical specialties. It is seeking an experienced Consultant in Internal Medicine / Endocrinology to provide evidence-based care to patients with general medical, endocrine and metabolic conditions, leading their assessment, diagnosis and management within granted clinical privileges.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic internal medicine, endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Provide specialist care for diabetes mellitus and complex endocrine disorders, including thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid and calcium/metabolic conditions.
• Manage patients across outpatient and inpatient settings within granted clinical privileges.
• Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans.
• Provide specialist consultations and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and continuity of care.
• Maintain patient safety, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Take part in quality improvement, clinical audit and departmental initiatives.
• Support the education, supervision and professional development of physicians and other clinical staff.
• Maintain continuing medical education and stay current with developments in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes.

Required profile

• MBBS, MBChB or equivalent recognised medical degree.
• Recognised postgraduate/specialty qualification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology/Diabetes & Endocrinology meeting UAE Professional Qualification Requirements.
• Eligible for a Consultant title and medical licence under the relevant UAE licensing authority.
• Minimum 3 years of post-training experience in the relevant specialty.
• Experience managing general internal medicine, diabetes and endocrine disorders.
