Consultant Internal Medicine – Specialist Endocrinologist

About the role

The Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) is seeking a Specialist Endocrinologist to join its multidisciplinary team. You will provide high‑quality endocrine care to adult patients in an outpatient‑focused environment, supporting the centre’s mission of integrated diabetes and endocrine treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive endocrine consultations and follow‑up care for adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary and hormonal disorders.
• Support chronic disease management through evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.
• Collaborate closely with diabetologists, educators, dietitians and other specialists to ensure integrated care pathways.
• Participate in on‑call duties or clinical rotations as required by the centre.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a recognised specialty qualification in Endocrinology.
• Minimum 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in endocrinology or internal medicine with an endocrine focus.
• Strong clinical expertise in managing chronic endocrine conditions in outpatient settings.
• Excellent communication, diagnostic and teamwork abilities.
• Eligibility for DOH Specialist Endocrinologist licensure.
