About the role

The Consultant Neonatologist will join a leading UAE hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide expert medical care for premature and critically ill newborns. Working closely with pediatricians, dieticians, and nursing staff, the role ensures each infant receives the necessary treatment and nutrition for recovery and growth.

Key responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to newborn infants until discharge.
Provide prenatal care and support for high‑risk pregnancies.
Assist in premature or complicated deliveries and manage immediate post‑birth emergencies.
Guide and counsel parents, helping them understand treatment options and fostering bonding opportunities.
Participate in clinical research and trials to advance neonatal care.

Required profile

Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology.
Completed residency and fellowship in Neonatology.
Valid license and certification to practice Neonatology in the UAE.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong communication, empathy, and dedication to newborn care.
