Consultant Nephrologist – UAE (Sharjah)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its nephrology, renal medicine and dialysis services. The position offers a modern, quality‑driven environment with a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including glomerular, tubulointerstitial and hereditary disorders.
• Provide nephrology care for haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and other renal replacement therapies.
• Evaluate and manage patients before and after renal transplantation, coordinating with transplant teams.
• Perform or supervise procedures such as temporary dialysis catheter placement and renal biopsy.
• Collaborate with cardiology, endocrinology, urology, vascular surgery and critical care for complex cases.
• Deliver outpatient consultations, inpatient care, follow‑up and long‑term disease management.

Required profile

• Strong clinical judgement with a commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance.
