Consultant Neurosurgeon – Sharjah

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in Sharjah. The role involves delivering comprehensive neurosurgical care, performing complex procedures, and overseeing patient management in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical disorders.
• Perform complex cranial and spinal surgeries, including emergency interventions.
• Develop and implement surgical and non‑surgical treatment plans.
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists and other specialists.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and investigations to guide clinical decisions.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality‑improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
• Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to teaching activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery.
• Valid eligibility for Consultant Neurosurgeon classification under UAE licensing requirements.
• Significant post‑specialisation clinical experience in modern neurosurgical techniques.
• Excellent communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• DHA/DOH/MOHAP license or eligibility is preferred.
