Consultant, Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the role

Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology with subspecialty expertise in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. The role involves delivering comprehensive women’s health services, leading advanced surgical programs, and managing complex benign gynecologic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level obstetric and gynecologic care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.
• Diagnose and manage complex gynecologic disorders using evidence‑based practices.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and robotic‑assisted surgeries.
• Manage patients with endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, fibroids, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, and related conditions.
• Deliver high‑quality antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Abu Dhabi Department of Health.
• Accredited residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Advanced Gynecologic Endoscopy, Endometriosis Surgery, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years post‑board/fellowship experience as a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
