Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist (American Board Certified, Arabic) – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and procedural care for infants, children, and adolescents with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions, including IBD, celiac disease, GERD, chronic abdominal pain, constipation, liver diseases, and feeding disorders.
• Perform pediatric endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment and nutritional management plans.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on gastrointestinal health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to international clinical standards.
• Participate in quality initiatives, research, and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• American Board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology (preferred).
• Arabic language proficiency (mandatory).
• Eligibility for DHA license or active DHA license (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of consultant‑level experience.

• Pediatric endoscopic procedures (endoscopy, colonoscopy).
• Advanced pediatric gastrointestinal and hepatology care.
• Diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, GERD, and related disorders.
