Consultant Physician – Orthopedics

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Physician specialized in Orthopedics to deliver high‑quality primary care to patients with injuries and common illnesses in Abu Dhabi. The role involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal conditions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders related to orthopedics.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, explaining results to patients.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventative health, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications or therapies and explain medical procedures.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists when needed, and work with nurses and healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations such as HIPAA.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Broad knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating diverse illnesses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and compassionate.
• Commitment to staying current with advancements in orthopedics.
