Consultant Plastic Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves delivering both reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Perform aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures according to patient needs.
• Manage complex wounds, scars, soft‑tissue injuries, and post‑traumatic defects.
• Conduct facial reconstruction, breast surgery, and body‑contouring procedures.
• Provide comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Deliver postoperative care, monitor recovery, and manage surgical complications.
• Counsel patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and recovery.
• Collaborate with dermatologists, oncologists, maxillofacial surgeons, and other specialists.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification (MS/MCh/DNB or equivalent) in Plastic Surgery.
• Significant post‑specialisation experience at Consultant level.
• Strong expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery.
