Consultant Plastic Surgeon

About the role

A reputed hospital in Dubai, UAE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon. The ideal candidate has extensive expertise in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, excellent surgical skills and a commitment to patient care, medical ethics and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures.
• Conduct patient consultations, clinical assessments and preoperative evaluations.
• Perform cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, facelifts and body contouring within clinical privileges.
• Manage reconstructive procedures for trauma, burns, congenital deformities and post-surgical defects.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide preoperative and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital policy and DHA regulations.
• Stay up to date with advances in plastic and reconstructive surgery and uphold patient safety, confidentiality and professional ethics.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Extensive clinical and surgical experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
• Proven ability to perform complex procedures and strong knowledge of modern surgical techniques and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-management skills; able to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
