Consultant Radiologist

About the role

Danat Al Emarat Hospital, a leading women’s and children’s specialty centre in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Consultant Radiologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive diagnostic imaging services, interpret a wide range of studies, and support clinical decision‑making to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and report X‑ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI and other imaging modalities.
• Provide expert radiological consultations to referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform and supervise image‑guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures where applicable.
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting of radiological findings.
• Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, radiation protection and quality assurance.
• Contribute to departmental protocols, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, fellows and radiographers.

Required profile

• Tier 1 qualification as defined by the DOH (e.g., American Board, Canadian Board, CCT/CCST, Australian Fellowship or equivalent).
• Eligibility for or possession of a DOH Consultant License in Radiology.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post‑board experience at consultant level in a recognised healthcare institution.
