Consultant / Specialist Anesthesiologist – Dubai

About the role

A leading multispecialty, JCI‑accredited hospital in Dubai is expanding its peri‑operative and critical‑care services. The hospital seeks an experienced Consultant / Specialist Anesthesiologist to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver safe, high‑quality anesthesia care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operative patient evaluation and develop anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional and local anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor intra‑operative physiological parameters to maintain patient stability.
• Provide postoperative pain management and oversee recovery.
• Participate in critical‑care and emergency response when required.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists and nursing staff.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance and patient‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑specialist or board certification experience.
• Recognised specialist qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCA, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, DM/MD/DrNB/FNB/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH licence conversion (support provided).
• Experience in modern operating theatres and intensive‑care environments.
