Consultant/ Specialist Clinical Pathologist – Tax‑Free UAE Role

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its laboratory services and seeks an experienced Consultant/ Specialist Clinical Pathologist. This senior position offers a tax‑free salary, modern accredited facilities and the chance to lead a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinical laboratory operations across hematology, biochemistry, microbiology and immunology.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability and timely reporting of diagnostic test results.
• Provide clinical consultation and interpret laboratory findings for physicians.
• Implement and monitor quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs.
• Maintain compliance with international accreditation standards (JCI, CAP, ISO) and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Supervise laboratory technologists and technicians.
• Participate in infection control, transfusion medicine and clinical governance initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years post‑specialist or board certification in Clinical Pathology.
• Internationally recognised qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCPath, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, MD Pathology/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH license conversion (support provided).
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient safety focus.
