Consultant / Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

About the role

A well-established multispecialty hospital in Dubai is seeking a Consultant / Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The role provides comprehensive care in women's reproductive health, pregnancy management and gynecological conditions, within a patient-centered women's health program that includes obstetric care, gynecologic treatment, preventive services and minimally invasive surgery. The setting is a modern hospital with maternity services serving an international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide obstetric care covering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal management, including routine prenatal exams, fetal monitoring and risk assessment
• Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies and perform vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections when clinically required
• Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions such as hormonal disorders, menstrual abnormalities, infections and reproductive health issues
• Perform gynecologic procedures, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic interventions
• Offer screening and preventive services, including cervical cancer screening, and family planning, contraception counselling and fertility guidance
• Manage menopause-related conditions and collaborate with neonatologists, radiologists and anesthesiologists
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, take part in clinical audits and quality improvement programs, and comply with international guidelines and UAE regulations

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years after specialist or board certification
• Recognised specialist qualification such as ABOG, UK CCT / MRCOG / FRCOG, European Board, Royal College (Canada), FRANZCOG, Arab Board, or MD / MS / DNB / FCPS / DM in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Eligibility for DOH / DHA / MOH licensing; licensing guidance and support is offered
