Consultant/Specialist Nephrologist – Tax‑Free Salary in Dubai

About the role

A leading multispecialty tertiary care hospital in Dubai is expanding its renal services and seeks an experienced Consultant or Specialist Nephrologist. The position offers a tax‑free salary, modern facilities and exposure to a diverse international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including CKD and AKI.
• Oversee hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programs.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑transplant care for renal transplant patients.
• Manage electrolyte, hypertension and fluid disorders.
• Interpret renal function tests, kidney biopsies and imaging studies.
• Deliver inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations.
• Collaborate with ICU, endocrinology and transplant teams.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance and infection control.
• Educate patients and families on long‑term kidney disease management.
• Supervise junior doctors and contribute to academic activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified nephrologist (American Board, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, DM/DNB, MD/DM/FCPS or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑certification experience.
• Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) licensure (support provided).
• Experience in multidisciplinary renal care environments.
