Content Creator & Social Media Intern

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator & Social Media Intern to join its Public Relations & Marketing team. You will support the production, curation and publishing of visual content for the hotel’s restaurants, bars, spa and beach venues, learning luxury storytelling in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Capture daily photo and video material across hotel spaces, following creative direction and brand guidelines.
• Edit short‑form videos for Instagram Reels, Stories and TikTok, ensuring proper pacing, sound, captions and colour.
• Assist in planning and scheduling Instagram feeds, creating moodboards, shoot concepts and Canva presentations.
• Monitor comments, messages and tags, draft on‑brand responses and escalate guest matters.
• Support influencer visits, coordinate content shoots with talent and hotel departments.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, Media, Photography or related program.
• Portfolio demonstrating a strong eye for storytelling and visual composition.
• Excellent written and spoken English and native‑level fluency on Meta platforms and TikTok.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings or weekends for shoots.

Required skills

• Smartphone photography and videography with an understanding of composition, lighting and colour.
• Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut.
• Familiarity with Photoshop, Lightroom and Canva is an advantage.
