Contract Specialist – Commercial & Vendor Agreements

About the role

Our client, a regulated payment services provider in the UAE, seeks a Contract Specialist to own commercial, vendor and partnership agreements. Working within the Legal function, you will ensure every contract is sound, compliant and efficiently managed from negotiation through renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, addendums and service level agreements with clients, vendors and partners.
• Ensure all agreements meet legal, regulatory and company policy requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, compliance and business teams to finalise contractual terms.
• Maintain a centralised contract repository with proper documentation and version control.
• Track contract milestones, renewals, expiries and ongoing compliance obligations.
• Identify contractual risks early and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract matters and support internal audits.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on compliance documentation and filings.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in contract management, legal, procurement or commercial roles.
• Strong grounding in contract law and commercial agreements, with knowledge of regulatory requirements in payment services or fintech.
• Familiarity with SLAs, vendor agreements and client contracts typical to the payments industry.
• Understanding of compliance standards, procurement processes and risk management.
