Contracts Manager – Building Projects

About the role

Our client, a Dubai‑based contracting company, seeks an experienced Contracts Manager for its Building Division. You will oversee contractual and commercial matters across building construction projects, ensuring compliance and protecting the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all contractual and commercial aspects of building construction projects.
• Review, negotiate and administer main contracts, sub‑contracts and related agreements.
• Handle variations, claims, extensions of time, delays and contractual notices.
• Monitor contractual obligations, risks and commercial exposure.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, QS teams and senior management.
• Prepare and review contractual correspondence with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Support the project team in resolving contractual and commercial disputes.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for claims and variations.
• Provide contractual advice to project and senior management and assist with commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law or related discipline.
• Strong experience as a Contracts Manager within the building construction sector.
• Experience with major building, residential, commercial, hospitality or fit‑out projects.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and contractual administration skills.
• Western background preferred; ideally early 40s or below.
• UAE/Dubai experience and immediate availability preferred.
