Corporate Accountant

About the role

The Corporate Accountant will support the Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. This role covers the full spectrum of accounting activities, from transaction recording to financial reporting and audit support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, accruals, and pre‑payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and manage accounts payable.
• Handle invoicing, collections and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, IFRS and internal finance policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or CA.
• Experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with UAE tax and VAT regulations.
