Corporate Accountant

About the role

The Corporate Accountant will support the Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and internal policies. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting activities, reporting, and financial analysis to aid business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, accruals, and pre‑payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management information.
• Process supplier invoices, payment requests, expense claims and manage accounts payable.
• Handle accounts receivable, issue invoices, follow up customer accounts and allocate receipts.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and expense monitoring.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, IFRS and internal finance controls.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and improve accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA or equivalent.
• Training in IFRS, VAT or ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
• General ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Bank, supplier, customer and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Use of ERP/accounting systems for financial reporting.
